Another outstanding book by Darrin Donnelly. This book is fiction but actually could easily be non-fiction. Interesting, inspiring and will provide sound wisdom about what life really should be about. You will not be disappointed with reading this book. Keep up the great work Darrin!

I really enjoyed it, but it wasn’t my favorite of his. It’s worth five stars but I would recommend a couple of his others before this one. Very interesting twist on things and just thinking about how life could be and what actually defines success. You’ll enjoy not only the story but everything else he talks about. I really enjoy this author.

This is the 4th book of the Sports for the Soul Series. I wasn't sure Darrin Donnelley could top Relentess Optimism but he certainly did with LIFE TO THE FULLEST. All of his books have helped me so much at a time I really needed the inspiration. His story telling through sports keeps the pages turning and does not let you put the book down. If you have started the series with THINK LIKE A WARRIOR you MUST read all of the series books. These books really can change your life.

Great read, fantastic message, outstanding series of books. Can't wait for the next one to be released!!!!!! You don't have to be a sports fan to appreciate these books.

I recently lost my job and after reading the first three sports for the soul books I knew this would help. Thank you Darrin for providing me with hope and faith as I continue to find my purpose, and begin the next journey of my life.

Great story and written well. We all have strayed, yet deep down I'd like think we all inherently know what's right. We just need a little reminder from time to time. A pleasure to read.

I have enjoyed reading all four of Darrin's books. I find them so inspiring. I relate to and learn something from each one. If you find yourself feeling stuck in life and need some inspiration you can't go wrong with these books.

About the Author

Don Hanlon Johnson is a professor of Somatics at the California Institute of Integral Studies; he founded the degree program there in 1983, the first of its kind. He is the author of Bone, Breath, and Gesture, Groundworks: Narratives of Embodiment, and The Body in Psychotherapy, among other books. He is a contributing editor of the professional journal Somatics and the director of the Somatics Research Center at CIIS, where there are several studies in process about the relevance of Somatic methods to major issues facing our society, including programs in rehabilitation and recovery, PTSD, and the education of parents for bonding with their children. He also directs the Somatic wing of the Esalen Institute.

Cawthra's book examines the complexity of race, identity, and art. At a time when African Amercians are fighting for full and equal citizenship, jazz and its creators struggle to be seen as legitimate. Along the way another art form, photography, also gains ground as its burgeoning masters document the jazz scene and those who created it. The magnificent photos and the author's thoughtful look at the contradictions of equality and independence and art and entertainment in America make for a very enjoyable read. Great Pictures. Thanks!

I was disappointed in this book of postcards. While it does, in fact, feature cows, the photographer does not seem to love, appreciate or enjoy his subjects. They look boringly bovine, not divine. You can tell when a photographer truly loves his subject. That affectionate touch is missing here and it hurts.

I completely disagree with the other reviewer who said that these cards are boringly bovine. First of all, they're cows, they are by definition bovine. Second, many of these cards feature lovely pictures of cows: cows looking curious, cows licking their calves, cows chewing. There's not much else you can get cows to do; they're cows. Also, many of the pictures feature beautiful backdrops of vibrant New England fall foliage, which really complements the Guernsey and brown cows, especially. My only complaint is that there aren't more calves, because who doesn't love a tiny, new ruminant?The postcards themselves are kind of thin, but perfectly fine for mailing. They have nice descriptions of the cows on the back, and a good amount of room for writing. These cards are perforated and tear out of the spine, but they're not very hard to remove.
